Payal has more than 15 years of experience in public accounting. She has been helping closely held business, their owners, and individuals with tax compliance, tax planning, IRS notices, bookkeeping, and cash flow management . Her favorite thing is to help client with tax planning and understanding their unique business finance and tax needs. Her industry experience includes start-up companies, professional services, manufacturing, real estate, health care, multi-state filings and foreign tax issues. Prior to joining Bay Landing Tax & Consulting , she worked as tax manager at a various CPA firms like Hood and Strong, LLP and Wheeler Accountants, LLP where she was responsible for managing bookkeeping services, tax engagements and working closely with clients with complex tax issues. Payal is member of American Institute of CPAs, the California Society of CPAs and the Colorado Society of CPAs. She is a licensed CPA.

Rob joined Bay Landing Tax and Consulting as a principal after merging his sole proprietorship tax/accounting practice in November 2020. Rob has been a practicing CPA since 1981. He specializes in small business and individual taxation and enjoys the business/personal relationships that have been established over the years.

In his spare time, he enjoys time with his wife and family, including 3 children and 4 grandchildren. He enjoys his backyard and vacationing in Hawaii.

Latha is a CPA and Tax professional with a ‘big picture’ view of client’s business and tax needs. For the past 15 years, she has developed sound tax planning strategies and created value-based client relationships. Having worked both in a Top 10 Accounting firm as well as a regional CPA firm, she has diverse experience in S and C Corporations, partnerships, and high net worth individuals’ taxes. She has volunteered for the CalCPA society and was a co-chair of the Silicon Valley chapter tax committee for more than 4 years. When not working on taxes, Latha loves to take long hikes along the beautiful East bay park trails with her husband.

Rekha joined Bay Landing Tax Fremont in December 2021. She is a CPA and also has a masters degree in Finance from India. She has worked in accounting firms, manufacturing industry and has experience in Finance, Strategy & Planning, Taxation, Audit and Accounting. Rekha enjoys the variety of ways in which she supports clients with their accounting and tax filing needs and deftly develops a good rapport with them. Music and dancing keeps her going. She loves spending time with her husband and her son doing various activities together – hiking, long drives and playing board games.

Miti has a Bachelor’s in Accounting from India. During her time in India, she has worked in industries ranging from media, technology, and travel. In the U.S, she has gained four years of customer service experience with a global visa processing company serving a diverse customer set. Miti enjoys interacting with customers and assisting them with their concerns and questions. She prides herself as a quick learner who is always eager to learn a new skill set. Valuing work-life balance, Miti spends her free time reading inspirational books and watching T.V. shows. Her current aspiration is to learn French and travel to France to explore all the local spots.

Michael is a tax professional with over 15 years of experience in public accounting, and has been licensed as a CPA in California for a majority of those years. He started working in a local boutique accounting firm, worked his way into management at a big four firm, and is now back leading a boutique office. While having audit signoff authority, his career focused early on the income tax needs of clients. Michael has tax compliance and consulting experience with high-net-worth individuals, flow-through entities, corporations, and trusts having specialized in real estate, construction, venture capital and manufacturing industries. He graduated with a BS in Managerial Economics from UC Davis and an MS in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Michael has resided in the Bay Area for the last 30 years and currently calls San Francisco home. When not working he enjoys biking, soccer, and wine.

Eileen Gardiner has been preparing income tax returns since February of 1979 after completing a tax course at H & R Block and working for them during her first tax season. Over the many years since that beginning she has acquired her Enrolled Agent’s License, her Certified Public Accountant’s License, and a Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Most of her working career has been spent at Hampton & Churchward Accountancy Corporation. Together with Joe Churchward and a wonderful staff they have grown that firm and developed a strong client base. She looks forward to this merger with Bay Landing Tax & Consulting. She will still contribute by assisting with client and staff needs and sharing her years of experience and knowledge.

Marilyn Meneses graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Lyceum of the Philippines University in Manila. Since 1987, Marilyn has served the East Bay community with Hampton & Churchward, a family owned accounting firm. She has experience doing bookkeeping for small businesses, as well as corporation and partnership tax returns. She is also a local resident of Alameda, raising her family here and establishing firm roots on the island. In her spare time Marilyn enjoys being with family the most, watching movies, and bowling.

Andrew Pearlstein attended Boise State University in Boise Idaho where he received his Bachelors in Accounting and Finance and a Master’s in Accounting. Andrew has 3 years of tax and attestation experience with the Sangiacomo Group in San Leandro California. Andrew enjoys working closely with clients to help grow their business’. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and hiking with his dog, Linus.

Kevin Williams attended San Jose State University and received degrees in business and accounting. Kevin has 10 years of tax and business consulting experience, which includes 6 years as the finance manager with a defense engineering firm. Before that, he was an account manager in the small business division of Comerica bank for 10 years. Kevin also studied at the Conservatory of Music in San Francisco and is an accomplished musician who enjoys teaching whenever possible.

Kortne graduated from Heald Business College with a degree in Business Administration. She has over 12 years of experience working in the administrative field, as well as over 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Shipping/Receiving. Kortne has worked in a variety of industries including Freight Forwarding, Heat Treating, Retail, Technical College, Property Management, and most recently a Premium Chocolate Company. Kortne is a native to the East Bay in California. In her spare time she enjoys reading, painting, going to the beach, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Teresa Adame has over 18 years of experience in the administrative and financial fields, including accounting, payroll, HR, and special events coordination. Originally from the Bay Area, she spent 8 years in Las Vegas as part of the corporate team at IGT (International Game Technology), a global company with 63 offices and over 80,000 employees worldwide. During her time at IGT, she gained valuable knowledge and experience. Teresa recently returned to the Bay Area to be closer to home and is excited to join the Bay Landing team.
